Guided by the University’s mission, the Center for Innovative Learning Programs (CILP) will help enhance learning through the appropriate use of technology to provide students with 21st century education.

 

CILP envisions the University to be a leader in producing globally-competitive graduates who are fully equipped with 21st century skills through teaching and learning excellence.

 

CILP will support administrators, faculty, students and other stakeholders in the development of an effective learning environment in both the physical and digital domains of the University. Our guiding principles include:

• Assess DLSUD’s current technological state and describe the ideal technological capability best suited for the University.

• Analyze internal and external factors, both current and in the future, which could affect strategy formulation.

• Encourage cooperation and collaboration among stakeholders to create an open environment conducive to learning.

• Identify best practices from more experienced higher education institutions and organizations.

• Maintain focus on learning and teaching excellence as the key to student achievement

• Develop cost-effective strategies that are socially responsible and environment-friendly.

• Uphold the faculty’s right to academic freedom.
